Super 8 By Wyndham Temple S General Bruce Hotel

The room was better than expected, clean, and free of bugs. Front desk service was attentive. They quickly accommodated a room change request and ensured towels were readily available at the pool. The building's exterior could use improvement, and there was a lingering smoke smell in one of the rooms. Although the coffee and ice machine were handy, the dining options left something to be desired.

I loved the room for value. It met the criteria.

A lot of great options for meal.

The kids loved the pool area, and we appreciated the affordable rate for our spacious room.

In my wife's opinion, better breakfast options would enhance our stay.

Location next to construction zone and Temple. Also, due to another event in the area. Newly renovated hotel unit for value. Variety of food available in the restaurant.

Comfortable room, convenient location, with a plug outside for charging the boat battery, making it ideal for weekend explorers like us who enjoy functional amenities.

Good budget priced Motel with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are well equipped with good size fridge and microwave.

There was quite a lot of traffic and railway related noise at night.

This place suits me perfectly! With clean rooms, free wi-fi, and a 24-hour reception, I have everything I need. The friendly staff once offered me a cold drink during a hot day, made a lasting impression. Highly recommend!

Very close to highway. Bed was very comfortable. All the amenities of more expensive motels. Clean room.

Semi trucks parked in front of motel and made it difficult to navigate on the first visit to motel. After we became acquainted with the street, it was much easier.

The staff was very accommodating. We arrived to check in at the hotel only to learn we did not have a reservation, apparently Booked.net said they had indeed faxed and e-mailed our reservation but when we arrived to the hotel they were not aware we had a reservation. There were rooms available so there was not a problem, per se, but the staff directed me to call the phone number for Booked.net and get the situation straightened out even though I had a confirmation number and pin number, I was directed to call Booked.net, then Booked.net called to Hotel to confirm we did in fact have a reservation with their hotel.

The hotel was fair, it met our overnight need - right off the highway but not very impressive. When I visit Santa Fe New Mexico, I always stay at a Super 8 so I know the quality of these hotels - this Super 8 in Temple was not that impressive.

I loved the friendly staff. The pool area was a nice bonus after a long day, and the location was great for hitting up local eats around Temple.

The breakfast options fell flat and did not live up to expectations. Plus, navigating the parking lot was like an obstacle course.

Room was a bit stale smelling. Carpet needs good cleaning. Clock did not work to set alarm. Phone was not turned on so I could request a wakeup call, so had to use my cell to call main number.

Location, hopefully more are planned closer to Austin
